Canvas Printing

The Dorland-Haight Galleries create fine art reproductions utilizing the latest in digital hardware, software, and printing equipment. This cutting edge equipment, along with our expertise, guarantees your print to be the very best quality.

Archival Pigment Printing (Giclee) provides the most sophisticated and accurate reproduction method for fine artists and photographers.

Archival substrates, U. V. retardant pigments and coatings ensure that you will receive a product that will keep its integrity for many decades to come. We offer a full line of canvas and archival paper substrates, along with the capacity for up to 44" printing dimension.

We can scan your old photos to create a digital file on our 42” wide large format Contex Scanner

and print the image up to 4 times larger with perfect clarity.

It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3.

1 Select the size of your finished canvas.

2 Select the stretcher depth.

3 Send us your digital photo by e-mail:

Or bring in your file on a DVD, CD or memory stick.

We’ll check your photo to make sure the resolution is good to print at the size requested.

Rule of thumb:

5 megapixel maximum size 24” x 32” or 32” x 32”

6 megapixel maximum size 32” x 40” or 40” x 40”

8 megapixel maximum size 40” x 48” or 40” x 40”

Allow enough border on your image to wrap around the stretcher. If you will lose some of your image the edge can be mirrored or printed a solid colour of your choice.
