Dina Shubin |
Dina Shubin Panov
graduated from the Moscow Teachers Training Institute, Art Faculty
in 1990 and emigrated to Canada in 1999. Her work was previously
exhibited at Art Expo in Seoul, Tokyo and New York and in Fine Art
Galleries in Moscow, Tel Aviv, and Miami, Florida. Her work graces
private collections in Russia, Norway, Germany, Israel, Canada and
the U.S.
During the years Dina has tried many different styles, but the theme
has remained the same: The depiction of a woman, an enigma,
especially when she is surrounded by an abstract background.
Lots of colour and vibrant texture infuse Dina's paintings. Her
collection of artwork - featuring muses, women of inspiration and
ideal beauty, 'protectresses' of the arts and sciences and spirits
of different elements of life on canvas and paper are full of
thoughts and emotions. Abstract surroundings takes one away from
reality and brings a dreamy, fairy-tale feeling. |
