Born in East Fraserville, Cumberland County, moved to a number of rural areas throughout Nova Scotia and now resides in Beaver Bank , N.S. She was educated at Mount Saint Vincent University and is an elected member of Canadian Society of Painter’s in Watercolour (CSPWC).
Annabelle uses exaggeration of light,shadow and vibrant color to enhance her realistic style. Light in watercolor creates drama, establishes mood and in turn translates into art. For over 25 years she has captured N.S. scenes on watercolor paper. She is inspired by people, chairs on porches, boats and harbours, patio umbrellas on city streets and horses with their owners.
Her work is in collections across Canada, the United States, Spain, Scotland, Bermuda, Switzerland, and China.
