Svetlana Gadjieva was born in 1963, in Chelyabinsk, Russia. As a child, she took a great interest in fine art and music, and was enrolled in a special school for artistic children. After graduating from high school, she continued her education in the St. Petersburg Academy of Fine Art, Sculpture and Architecture named after I. Repin.

She now works as a designer and artist in St. Petersburg. She uses mixed media techniques, watercolour and always produces a high quality of work.
Svetlana’s paintings are in many private collections in Germany, France, Japan, Canada and USA.
