Sergei Kozin was born in 1946 in the ancient city of Dno, Russia.
Because of an early predilection for art, he was enrolled in 1958 in a special school for talented children. After completing secondary school, he entered the Ilya Repin Academy of Fine Art and Sculpture in St. Petersburg.
Kozin has worked and taught at St. Petersburg University for many years. He has taken part in many one man and group shows both within Russia and abroad.
Kozin exhibits a special talent as a colourist within the Post Modern Impressionist Movement. His zest for life is extant in all he paints.
Kozin’s works are found in many private and corporate collections throughout the world.
