Sergei Pogosyan

Sergei Pogosyan was born in 1962 in Armenia. From early childhood he took a great interest in drawing and attended a special art school in the city of Yerevan. He developed his skills and was guided by Armenian artists; Minas Avetisyan, Rudolf Hachaturyan, and Akop Akopyan.  Since 1987, Sergei has taken part in many exhibitions in Yerevan and also in Germany, France, Turkey, and the U.S.A.

Pogosyan has lived and worked in St. Petersburg, Russia since 1994, where he continues to improve his skills at the Repin Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture. He participates in all large exhibitions in St. Petersburg.

The works of Sergei Pogosyan are kept in many private collections in Russia, Armenia, Turkey, China, Japan, Canada and the USA.
