The Gallery offers Archival Custom Framing for which we’ve won national competitions. We offer a vast variety of styles and creative applications for oil paintings, prints, limited editions, cross-stitch, needlework, watercolours, diplomas, memorabilia or anything else you may wish to conserve. All framing is done to Library of Congress Conservation Standards . Watercolours, needlework or paper prints require conservation glass to prevent fading. We only use conservation glass, which blocks out 99% of damaging U.V. rays. Conservation glass looks just like regular glass, but is U.V. retardandant. We also have conservation reflection control glass, to prevent glare, and Museum Glass, almost invisible. We can also use Optium Plexiglass to protect your larger images, with out the weight.
With over five thousand moulding choices available, you can be assured of finding the appropriate frame to enhance your image while remaining within your budget. Our experienced staff will help you each step of the way to find your best option.
Each of us have been framing since 1983. All items are handled with the outmost care and all work is done right here at our premises; not sent elsewhere. The people you consult with are the people who do your work, and understand your needs.
We are reknown for our shadow box framing. Bring in all of your collection and we'll work with you chosing the appropriate mat , layout and frame. Take that wonderful stuff out of your drawer or trunk and put where all can admire it!
Sometimes you just need to update your frame, or maybe the mat is the wrong colour for your newly painted room. We can still enhance your image and make it work with it's new surroundings. After all, it's the ART you love!
Just moved? Broken glass.? We are here to help.

I have used Peter and Miriam's expertise for more than 2 decades. I have framing they did for me in the 1980's that still looks as good as the day they did it. The superior materials and special care they take with all their projects really shows in the work they do.
I have also purchased many pieces of original art in various mediums, from celebrated Russian artists and Chinese painters to local artists like Sarah Joncas. Peter has always been helpful in pointing out the exceptional quality in up-and-coming artists whose body of work has increased in value since I purchased them. I have purchased 2 bronze castings and 2 stained-glass Tiffany Reproduction lamps, at Peter's urging, that years later, I still adore. Peter has a real eye for quality and a sense of what I will enjoy.
Dorland-Haight Gallery has also done large format printing for me, for commercial work I do. They take exceptional care with colour rendering to ensure the output is just perfect. I have had prints dry-mounted for use at tradeshows or for camera backdrops. I have found the process to fast and of excellent quality.
